Our team at Institut quantique explores Josephson photonics, superconducting quantum circuits based on inelastic Cooper pair tunnelling. 

Based on Josephson photonics we develop easy-to-use quantum devices such as:

  • ultra-bright microwave single-photon sources
  • DC-powered quantum-limited amplifiers
  • microwave photomultipliers

We manufacture our devices at 3iT, and our manufacturing process is available as a foundry service via CMC Microsystems.
